The
island of Ibiza, locally known as Eivissa, through its cultural
legacy, has become a heavenly place where there is a perfect
balance between peaceful, traditional life and the energy
of the great leading cities. It is also very attractive to
tourists for what it offers in terms of both nature and culture
(in 1999 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO)
and has a wonderful climate (an annual average maximum temperature
of 21.5ºC and an average minimum of 14ºC.)
As
a leading city, Eivissa has three fully-equipped centres in
which all kinds of cultural events take place: from congresses
and conferences to exhibitions and plays. These centres are
strategically located, as they are in areas that can be easily
reached from the main public roads.

To supplement this offer there are first-class accommodation
facilities, including hotels in the town and by the sea, agrotourism
establishments, apartments and hostels. In every case, good
service and treatment are guaranteed.
The fact that Eivissa is an island, along with the tourist
industry development that has taken place over the last few
decades has led to the building of modern airport infrastructure
that, together with sea transport provide daily, frequent
connections between the island and the main Spanish and European
cities.
